Written assignments will be available through this webpage. Written homework is due at the beginning of class and no later than 5 days after the deadline. If you hand in the homework late 10% will be taken off the score for each day.
The class meets W 5:45-9:00 in room 708 (Digitial Cinema
Theater) of the CTI building..
My office hours are MW 4:00-5:30pm.
There will be screenings of the movies we discuss outside of class, time to be announced. Initial schedule for screenings (might change during the quarter).
Also, outside the screening times, the movie will be available for checkout at the cage (open at M-Th 10-10, F 10-6, Sa 10-3).

Grading scheme: Final Paper: 40%, Homework/Quizzes: 50%; attendance/participation: 10%.
An incomplete grade is given only for an exceptional reason such as a death in the family, a serious illness, etc. Any such reason must be documented. Any incomplete request must be made at least two weeks before the final, and approved by the Dean of the School of Computer Science, Telecommunications and Information Systems. Any consequences resulting from a poor grade for the course will not be considered as valid reasons for such a request.
